I got diagnosed today. They think it is the reason for recurrent mc's feel gutted

Hey, I am being tested for this tomorrow too. My Mum had it when she was younger, hers was overactive but it can be under or over. She had to have part of her thyroid gland removed (hers was an extreme case though), but even in her case - worst case scenario - she takes tablets every day but has a perfectly normal healthy life, and of course she gave birth to me and my brother . I hope you will start to feel better soon. At least now you can get some answers, medication, and hopefully a BFP very soon! take care xxx

Don't forget this, from the sound of it you could have an easier time as you obviously ovulate and I assume, don't have a clotting issue.....

But I think your diagnosis is the lesser of the evils, medication for thyroid disorders has been refined to a high level over the years.

Hi hon, my hubby has this - diagnosed at birth with heel prick test. He takes mediation every day and has an annual blood test to check levels are right. I hope they can help u with having a little one x x x
