is it just me or does anyone else find at certain times of the day your baby seems to be in training for the olympics?! just latly, this time of nigh, and early mornng my bump goes mad and she is jumping, tossing and turning like mad. yesterday i was even watching my bump 'breathing' in and out really fast. it can be quite alarming, like she is having a fit or something. i know that she is head down already but you dont think doing think it going to cause her to get the cord round her neck or something do you? she better not be getting ready to arrive either cuz the nursury still needs painting, skirting, architrave, a door, the floor cleaning, varnishing and furniture! lol
Any more budding baby olympians out there?
Ellie

:D Yeh Pips a mad lady! She goes nuts over things like coke or coffee and when I go to bed at night I sit watching her and shes like a manic! I thought she was meant to of calmed down by now but she seems to of just got wigglier!

My LO never goes nuts like other peoples seem to! :(

I dont think mine ever sleeps! lol  She is constantly poking feet and arms out of my sides and rolling her back from side to side so one minute I have a huge lump on the right then it moves to the left....if I didnt know better I would guess she is trying to fight her way out!! So much for the movements slowing down in the final weeks  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Between about 28 and 36 weeks Oscar was constantly on the go! He's calmed down now but only because he has run out of room  Now he just shifts and pokes me in the ribs a bit :)

Mine's doing my head in lately :wall:

He used to only really be active on the train to work....around lunch time....mid evening and when I went to bed.

The last 4days or so he's just been active ALL day and ALL evening and only settles down at night....then wakes me up at between 2am and 4am desperate for a wee and I suspect it's because he's been kicking my bladder because he's always active as soon as I gain conciousness

Not too much room left in there though so rather than the random (and fairly well protected against) kicks and prods I was used to it quite a lot of big breathtaking movements  It's actually making me feel sick half way through the day due to the constant movement and pressure :(

I have been randomly shouting 'ouch' at my desk at work when something slams into my side or my rib  Thank goodness I'm finsihing next week - I bet they think I'm mad

Henry bump goes mentalist everytime i have something sweet to eat  he also hates me when i eat mustard sandwiches which i am rather partial to but he clearly doesn't like the taste   hehe He tends to have a flip out every afternoon/early evening and then just about bed-time too - little nutter - just hope he don't have adhd like his big brother really...my OH brought it up the other day but i reassured him that having gone through it all once already there is no way this baby of mine is gonna be given any of the foodstuff that used to send Charlie hyper - :shakehead: been there done that got the t-shirt and greyhairs to prove it :rotfl:

well i am glad its normal then, i sometimes wonder if i have miraculously concieved another spaniel, two hyper dogs is enough thanks without a hyper baby too! lol. but then we did get used to saying, 'its a puppy.' everytime someone asked what is it. lol maybe she heard. anyway. off to paint the nusery now. wish me luck! can wait to post the finished pictures! lol

oh ellie..... :rotfl: i SO sympathise.. I have a spaniel collie cross    his sunday name is Samuel the Spaniel but his day to day name is Spannerdog and he has half a pea for a brain :D happy painting n lookin forward to seein the pics when you are finished :D xxx

Who need a spaniel?! I've got 4month and 13month old kittens (one of each)....both boys :wall: Constantly tearing around the house and play fighting

:rotfl: I see your kittens and raise you one Border Terrier Cross Jack Russel     Sunday name: Fizzy Wizzy Gizmo the Techno Terrorist Terrier.... day to day name.. Knobhead! :rotfl: I can't fault him though he is most protective of my bump and likes to snuggle it even though Henry kicks him loads lol :D gizzy seems to like it :) can't wait for my dogs to meet my baby n just hope they both behave cos it would destroy me to have to get rid of me dogs - think spanner will be ok but am bit wary of gizzy - think he may get uber protective of the baby :?

yep!!!

it used to be just at night i could feel her but the past few days i have started to feel her in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon too - she is getting a right wriggle bum! lol

this morning i was eating my cereal when she started kicking and it was in my rib so everytime she did it i jumped - suprised my cereal didnt go all over

My lo had a mad time last couple of weeks and has now calmed right down I think she has decided breaking for freedom al la alien style is not going to work so is now conscentrating on the conventional vaginal evacuation

the only thing though, i think she must know when i want people to feel her kicking, whenever there are people around me i.e. my mum/ OHs mum she will not kick or she will kick and as soon as i tell them to come and feel, she stops

HALF a pea?! you are sooo lucky mine havent got a brain celll between them! lol
Mad max and Cokin on cocaine. i just hope they dont teach my bubs to behave like them, i dont think i want a baby who steals dirty underwear and hides under the bed! lol. forgot to mention the mad cat too, and the two slightly loopy horses.....
painting is finished but i have a feeling it will be patchy, decided to do it in my underwear to save messing up my clothes, gave farmer next door and eyeful through the window so am now going to have a shower.
baby has suddenly decided that mum needs to spend all day on the loo because that damn bladder is getting in the way of her headbanging and aparenty ribs are just there to annoy her, well im sorry but we mothers to be are soo selfish as to have internal organs.....
lol, anyho must dash before this paint dries and i end up looking like mr blobbies missus forever.

ps: leanne, my little miss does exactly the same thing, i dont think anyone has actually seen her move bar me and my hubby! lol, i think she has a peek out my bellybutton and sees them coming!!!!

Aimee was extremely hyper! Turns out she is a twitcher when she sleeps so her mental movements was her twitching! She got the hiccups a lot as well and she hasn't changed much now she is here!

I've got 2 cats - a year old and 2 years old, both boys and at certain times of the day they go mental!! Zooming around like they've just had a line of catnip!! :rotfl: Cats are mentalheads!

I have an EXTREMELY squiggly baby too!!! I told the midwife last time I saw her I thought LO might have ADHD..... She told me not to tempt fate!!! :talkhand:
Also have 2 very lively but very loveable Staffordshire Bull Terriers called Solo and Tank. As the name Tank suggests, he destroys everything in sight.... If he has half a brain I would be VERY suprised!!! :rotfl:
