Hello everyone  this is my very first post i've just been looking at all the others for about a week and trying to get over my nerves and post!!lol. Me and my partner decided to try for another baby and I'm so impatient!! It took me 6 months to fall pregnant last time after comming off the pill, even though we wernt really trying (i got told i'd need help getting pregnant so we didnt bother with bc). I'm worried though that although i didnt need help the first time i might this time, is that possible or am i just being paranoid??

I'm due to start my period tomorrow and really hope i get a BFP but I'm already thinking in a negative way. Would appreciate some words of wisdom even if you cant give me specific advice. Thank you in advance.xx:)

Any reason you think you might struggle?
Stay positive!! Never underestimate the power of positive thinking x

i think its because i got told i'd need help first time round. maybe i'm just being silly, we've being trying again for 6 months so maybe thats my number.xx

do you have regular periods, what made them think you would need help?

I think 6 months is a reasonable timescale and there is no reason why it wouldn't happen the same or sooner this time around........stay positive.

good luck, hope you get your bfp!

i got told by doctors due to me having pollysistic overies. I'm not going to worry from now on! hope your pregnancy is going well and your not getting the naughty heart burn like i did with my little monster!! Thank you again for your advice.xx

Hello Dexie Pip - welcome to this section and yayy for being brave and making that first post!!
This is a wonderful forum with loads of lovely ladies and support for us all.

I don't really know much about polycystic ovarys , but I know there are lots of ladies with it on this forum who will hopefully help. Some do seem to take a little longer to fall pregnant, but it doesn't seem to stop it from happening. Some have irregular periods, some don't ovulate each month, and so clomid is an option, and maybee ask for some blood tests to see if your ovulating each month, so help is out there.

Good luck with your TTC journey X

Hiya hun, i have pcos too and im currently on my third round of clomid 50mg! The best thing you can do is relax and just carry on with normal stuff - feel a bit of a hypocrit for saying that cos i also found it difficult to relax and could have punched anyone that told me too!!! lol!! However this cycle ive completely relaxed and wahey CD14 i got my first positive ovulation test!! My first one ever!

So it does happen when you relax - now im in my 2ww and im really trying not to stress out about it!!

Good luck hun and keep us posted with how you get on
xxx
