Hurray, 12 week scan appointment

, Hiya guys, well I have just had a little rush of excitement. I have been waiting for a while for my scan appointment(MW said should have got it about 3 weeks ago), so I just rang the ante- natal dept and they said that they sent out a letter with scan date weeks ago! .
My scan date is 18 Oct, which is only just over two weeks away , it's such a good job that I rang because I am one of those people who just leave things because I don't like to seem like I'm pestering people, I mean I'm not the only expectant mother in Sheffield am I?
Anyway, I am looking soooo forward to this scan because I am not really letting myself get too excited about the pregnancy because of the whole dodgy first tri thing, when anything could happen. So when I have had this scan then I will be able to move forward and start planning etc.

Exciting aint it?
TBH, I am also looking forward to it because I don't know exactly how far I am in this pregnancy, I know that I am at least 9 weeks but only because my first bfp was 5 weeks ago. I have never taken much notice of my cycles and also I only had implanon taken out in March so I really didn't expect to become pregnant this soon. So to find out just how pregnant I am will make it seem more real too!
