Hi.
Does anyone else feel like their LO is hungry most of the time?
I no babies, eat, sleep and cry at times but Amelia is 18 days old now, so coming up to 3 weeks when I've been told they go through a growing spurt but she constantly looks for food. We give her 120ml but have to sometimes give her more but she just seems to want even more after that!! Xx

My LO is almost five weeks and has a very healthy appetite! I worry that we are over feeding her as she has gained HUGE amounts of weight... But she is always hungry, so I can't not feed her. Health visitor doesn't seem concerned though, so I guess some babies are just hungrier than others? My LO was born 13 day overdue and the HV did say sometimes overdue babies are hungrier due to the placenta stopping being so effective at the end of their time in the womb...not sure if that true though.

My Lo is the same ... i was worried i was overfeeding her but midwife advised me that you can not over feed a baby when i asked her about changing her to hungry baby milk she said no but i put ruby on the hungry baby milk as the first milk didnt do anything for her , she was always hungry after a feed and i wasnt going to let her starve. Since she has been on the hungry baby milk she is alot happier and more content. she is currently taking 6oz of the hungry baby milk and in the day time goes around 3 hours inbetween feeds and she has also began sleep through the night she is currently having her last bottle at around 9.00pm - 9.30pm and will normally wake at 6.00 to 7.00am.

Joe had a big growth spurt at 19/20 days where I BF from 11pm - 3pm the next day with no more than 30mins break inbetween. I was convinced I was doing something wrong but MW said perfectly normal. It slowed down again and then odd days it gets a bit crazy again.
