Humidifiers for nursery

Hi All,

Just setting up our nursery and have read that its important to have a humidifier!

Can anyone tell me if they bought one and the benefits of having one - and if so which one did you go for?

Is it hype or are they a good thing?

Never used one for my own son. And in all my years nannying I don't recall a single family that used one either.

I certainly wouldn't buy one until you know you actually need it.

We have one now because Tom has had bronchiolitis three times and the humidifier really helps with this. However, it's definitely not something I would've bought unless Tom had got ill.
