Just wondering (another worry that has come into my head) how would I know if my baby hasn't developed properly? Would this only be found out at the 12 week scan?

Again I'm worrying about everything & having an emotional moment.
I don't have too many symptoms; tiredness, sore nipples & empty stomach sicky feeling but I feel like something else should be happening to reassure me! Have had no bleeding or sporting either.

Am 7+1

I had my 9 week scan and they can't see anything that detailed I don't think, you can see vague shape, cord and sac but that's it.. I think 12 weeks is when they can see more.
Try not to panic my symptoms have been everywhere. Around 8 weeks BAD nausea started and couple of bouts of sickness but other than tiredness I don't feel too much difference oh and a lot of bloating.
And then I have days like today when I feel fine :) Try not to panic :) xxx

I would say yes at this point you just have to wait until your scan. Unless of course you have heavy bleeding or serious pains.

In my pregnancy in the first 12 weeks I only had tiredness and sore boobs that was it. Enjoy it, some peoples body just cope better with all the changes and it doesn't mean there is anything wrong.

Some people glow in pregnancy and others feel rough all the way through. Everyone's different so please don't compare yourself to others

I felt rough (and still do) it was a relief to find out all was completely fine at my 12 week scan. And then waiting another 8 weeks to see baby again at 20 week scan felt like so long! Won't see my little boy now till he's born. Try not to worry, like shepherdess says unless you have serious pains or heavy bleeding everything should be fine.xx

I'm feeling exactly the same, I've no reason to panic, but I am! Still waiting for a date for my scan, and that's making me panic too. Got my 1st midwife appointment tomorrow though.

Durning my first pregnancy I was just tired and nothing else apart from
Slightly sore boobs.

The reason they wait until 12 weeks to do the first scan is so they can see if baby is developing as it should I.e string heart beat, 2 arms and legs but even in 12 weeks scan it's not totally clear if baby is growing as 'normal'. The anomaly scan at 20 weeks is where they can see the details and looks at everything from how face is forming to the chambers in the heart. However even then it's not possible to pick everything up.

The worst thing you can do is stress. Just enjoy the fact you're growing a miracle. Unfortunately apart from eating healthy and staying active there's nothing you can do about bubs development. And relax!! The stress isn't good and stress hormones can pass to the baby.

As for sumpotoms they can come and go! Not everyone feels rubbish. You're one of those lucky ones and you'll be cursing when you're heads down the loo tomo ;)

I can really relate to you I was exactly the same my first pregnancy I would google everything if something wasn't quite right I'd literally loose the plot thinking something was wrong I worried about miscarriage then I worried about still birth then I worried about movement. Its all really new to u and so much going on in ur body that ur bound to feel vulnerable. This time round I'm so much more relaxed and have taken the attitude what will be will be as there is nothing u can do to prevent things happening. I know it's much easier said than done but if you look at the percentage of everything g being ok it far outlays the percentage of things not so please try not to stress xx

I am trying not to stress, much easier said than done. But you're all right, what will be will be!
