Properly Clean Your Oven?

I had someone come and look at our this morning and I suddenly realised I haven't cleaned it since before Evie was born (probably when I was about 6 months pregnany cause I couldn't reach the bottom of the oven after that!

That's 7 months I feel skank!

In the 18 months we've lived here our oven has been cleaned twice! Thats disgusting, didn't realise it until I had to think about it. My mum scrubbed it when we moved in despite it being spotless already and then I gave it a clean at christmas. I think I shall clean it today!

Well lets see..... we got a new cooker in October last year and I've never cleaned the inside other than the door.

I clean mine every Sunday after the roast and take the glass front out to clean every 2nd week

I was so ashamed of my cooker, the last time that I did it properly was when I was nesting with Jacob I have wiped it out since, but not properly cleaned it until my dad did it for me yesterday!!!!! I now have a shiny sparkly clean cooker and am really proud of it, I keep going and looking at it My dad is the best!!!

Same here!! I do clean the top everyday, I always seem to get it in a mess whenever I cook but the oven is kinda left. I am sending Ewan over to Asda to buy oven cleaner today!

Dont worry Jade. We moved in in May 07 and the oven was brand new, I cleaned it once between then and when Corey was born - 1st May 08!!!

Saying that, Iv looked in it, and its pretty clean... nothings every leaked over or anything, but... it needs a clean im sure...

Nope I dont clean if often! OH does but I dont! I hate cleaning ovens!

The last time i cleaned it i was about 4 months pregnant...

But.. Lee did it about a month ago

To be honest we dont really use it.
Lee works long hours... and when hes off we generally make fresh meals using the hob
Which gets cleaned after every use

Argh my oven is horrible but it was like that when we moved in. The previous owners must have never cleaned it because its really bad and no amount of cleaning would get it off apart from a strong toxic acid no doubt!

about 2months ago, and even then it was after nagging OH to clean it cause im sure i read somewhere oven cleaners dangerious when your preg (i didnt need to be told that twice )

been asking OH again if he could clean it as its smelling burnt again (blames OH's pizza's)

It's not my oven that gets dirty - its the bloody cooking trays that get all burnt and smell that I hate cleaning

Ours was new four months ago and I've never cleaned it lol But to be fair we don't use it very often!
