How often do you have sex during your "fertile window"?

I'm looking at my *predicted* fertile window (which I know isn't 100% accurate and could change) and wondering which days would be best to have sex.

Currently I'm thinking every other day (don't want to tire OH out!)
How often do you have sex during your predicted fertile window?

Everyday if possible! Unless we are very tired. A lot of people say every other day should be enough but I'm always scared I miss my 12-24 hours of ovulation! It seems to work too as I've been pregnant 3 times in less than a year, however they've all ended in miscarriage. I would just say do it as much as u can!

We never DTD more than every other day so 2-3 times throughout the fertile window. This time it was the day I got a positive ovulation test, and two days beforehand.

I don't think you need to DTD every day, every other day still does plenty to cover your fertile window. Good luck! xx

Thanks guys, I don't think we would DTD everyday, but like you said RainingFlowers I would be worried about missing my ovulation window!!!

Then again I'm also worried hubby will be like "oh but we did it yesterday, I'm not in the mood"

We are now going for 2-3 times in the fertile window. We were doing it more but no we've been at this long term we were getting to a point where we were both finding it quite draining and it was putting needless pressure on us both. If you're a high sex drive couple then of course do it more if you want to. Our problem was that we were doing it more than we would have normally and the whole thing just felt forced. Everything I've read suggests every other day is fine.

This is our first month ttc and we've dtd every day since the OPK gave a positive. Although next cycle we've agreed we'll do every other day (unless we feel up to it!) if we need to so it's more relaxed

I think there is only a slight increase chance of getting pregnant dtd everyday compared to every other day. Iv been told many things from everyday to every other day through the entire cycle not just fertile week. Every other day is good. But hasn’t worked for me yet xxx

We've tried sooooo many cycles where we dtd everyday just before and over ovulation (until just after) and its never worked for us. The only cycle I conceived (and unfortunately miscarried) we dtd probably once or twice over the whole cycle and I had no clue when I ovulated.. so our next cycles we're trying to only dtd once every 3 days and try catch ovulation.

We dtd every day and every other day when trying and after 18 months we decided we wanted a break from it all, the month we stopped trying we dtd when we wanted sometimes more than once a day and I always went to loo straight after and that’s the month we actually caught. So i dont think it matters along as your relaxed about it and dtd at least 3 times a week. Good luck xx

Every other day at least, if hubby isn't a work (he is a firefighter). Was told that is the best way. Also, make sure both of you avoid hot tubs before and after, I had no idea about that, but I guess it can kill sperm if it's too hot.
