Postage within the EU isn't much more than postage within the UK.
Our first class stamp is what 38p now, the European one is 44p and then 60p if you send a big letter (or a small one with thousands of sheets).

Just enter your destination "Overseas" and the weight (use the kitchen scales) and once overseas is entered it will give you a list of overseas countrys, select netherlands and "next step" and it will quote for that weight in letter form, packet form, parcel form etc. My guess is that a book would go as a small packet.

I'm always sending stuff overseas, I love writing to penpals!!
