For a handmade piece of funrniture?

My husband is a qualified Joiner, he used to make handmade kitchens was made redundant and now in a job he hates. I was looking around the world wide web like you do and found a site with loads of plans for furniture to make. He could make them easily and has most of the tools, i said he sould try selling some. He is going to make one of these in a few months for our garden (when he finishes the decking) and a couple matching chairs.

I am quite handy with a sowing machine so could make the pillows myself - but how much would you value one of these? Or be happy to pay for it handmade and finishing in your choice of colour and fabric? -- so individual to you?

Trying to work out if it will be worth buying the wood and a couple of the bigger tools he doesnt have. Thank you ladies for your feedback and opinions xxx

Not sure as we don't tend to buy custom made stuff for ourselves but Also there is a huge demand for good quality large rabbit hutch and runs. On average you pay around 150-200 for a proper quality one look at sites like rydale /happy hutchvfor inspiration more people are turning to the internet as pet shops sadly don't stock hutches which are minimum Rspca standereds (6x2x2 with attatched 6x6 run for a pair of average rabbits ) and with giants being popular play houses converted etc are also in demand. That is something I'd invest money in (go to rabbits united forum and you will be shocked with the amount of people looking for decent quality hutches country wide) just as another thought x

Want some quick easy money get your dh to make wooden sand pits with hopefully the warm weather coming they are very popular.
