How much water?

Now Seb has started taking water inbetween feeds I am not sure how much I can give him. He has been having 3 ounces is this too much or not enough???

Thanks hun, am formula feeding aftyer trying to re-introduce BF. No such luck though. I think he is wanting more feeds cause he is thirsty rather than hungry so have to give him water.

I think Harrison used to have around 1/2 Oz a day when he was your sons age. Now he has around 7+ i'm not sure if i'm giving him too much but he still eats all his meals I dont see it hurting him!

I dont think it's hurting him either especially when it's so warm. Seb has had 6 oz of water today, if I hadnt have given him that it would have been MORE formla, he he piling weight on fast as it is so water is the only thng I want to give him between feeds

I remember my HV saying to me once, If your LO is upset and its not long after a feed or before the next feed try them with water first and if that keeps them calm then you know they weren't hungry just thirsty. Its always worked for me
