how much to express

Just a quick question. how do you know how much to express for a feed. I am like a cow just seem to keep going . I was given him top up for jaundice but he hasn't had a feed in a bottle yet.

At that sort of age, Ellie was taking between 2 and 3oz.

I expressed to feed L last week so that I can try to make sure she takes a bottle for if I ever go out & leave her with C for the night (note the distinct EVER there ) - she took 3oz.

Oli took about 2-3oz while I was away for an hour or so

Austin usually takes between 2 & 3oz but he took nearly 5oz when OH fed him the other evening. If I'm leaving him for a couple of hours I usually make sure I leave two 3oz feeds in case he gets hungry.
