...when you entered third tri?

I'm finally joining you all today and I'm a bit surprised how much stuff I actually have lol

It's all clothes He's got:
17 = 0-3 month bodys suits
8 = 0-3 month sleep suits
3 = 0-3 month trousers
3 = 0-3 month t-shirts

5 = bibs
1 = 3-6 months 3/4 body suit

And newborn...
1 = long sleeved body suit
1 = 3/4 length body suit
1 = hand made cardigan
1 = summer jacket
4 = pairs of socks
3 = pairs of scratch mitts
3 = hats (1 summer, 2 breathable cotton)

And a couple more odds and sodds hopefully to come from a lady on here (trousers and tops)



He also has a moses basket with 2 stands and a cot being donated in the near future by firends...and I'm going to order EVERYTHING else I will need in the first 3 months off the mothercare website next monday on their nursery payment plan

The great news is most of the above has come 2nd hand from here or e-bay....I've only brought about 6-7 items new from the shops and always in the sale
So it hasn't even cost me a fortune! lol

Well done you for getting the free stuff! I am firm believer in recycling, it makes so much sense. We have had to buy hardly any of the big stuff as we have been given it as gifts or we found it on Freecycle or various forums.



On entering 3rd tri, I have:

Cot (free)
Pushchair (free)
Car seat (free)
Bouncer (10 EUR)
Sling (free)
High chair (gift)
Playmat (gift)
Tons of clothes (gifts)
Nappies (gift)
Some toiletries / dummies etc. (bought)
Steriliser (free)

We still have to buy some clothes, baby monitors, baby bath, bottles and feeding equipment, but all the big things are covered it seems!

Hey you!! Welcome to Tri3 (I've already said hello to you Ani )

Wow you've done so well getting all that stuff ladies!!

I dread to think how much Evie has! I've had to buy her pink furniture set early because she has so much bloody stuff! Haven't put it up yet though so I have 6 HUGE boxes of clothes that need washing and ironing, loads of brand new outfits, tons of sleepsuits/vests etc, but I've had to buy it all myself so I'm really bloody proud of myself!

I haven't got anything left to buy her now. Bought her cot, car seat, pram, play mat, bouncer, bath seat, bedroom furniture, moses basket etc.

Just waiting for a baby now! xx

Big up the free or second hand stuff! welcome to tri 3!!

I have so far (and TBH cant be arsed to shop/look for any more)
Cot (freecycle, need to sand and repaint)
moses basket (collegue gave)
baby nest (collegue gave)
baby walker and bouncy chair (friend gave)
muslin cloths (brought)
Plenty of clothes(mainly 3-6 month onward) shoes and bibs all hand me downs or from car boot a few brought bits but only a hand full prob spent £15 tops.
a pink Tutu (special mention coz its soo cute, that and the pram shoes I have broken my own 'no pink/ frilly or stupid pram shoes' rule,...they were sooo cute I had to buy!!)
grow bag (brought from TK maxx for cheap, only got one as want to see if she likes)
3 prams!! two given, one brought (loola streety) I gave the other two to charity.
Microwave steriliser (friend gave)
few rattles and 2 teddies(brought)
cot sheets (brought, £1 each!!) (got alot of blankets still from DS)
boob leakage catcher thingies (think they may be called shells?-essentials in my book for BF)
2 wide neck bottles (intend to hand express like last time)
Plant pot from ikea (to be used as a tummy tub-seriously!!)
changing mat (brought in sale £2)

Only things I *need* are mattresses, sling, all in one coat, drawers to keep clothes and nappy stuff.

2 x larger bottles (all this stuff in one set)
1 x breast pump
2 x soothers
1 x magic cup

we're going to get the cot and the moses basket next and we're going to be starting the nursery in the next couple of weeks so we'll get the rest of the furniture when we start that.

To be honest I don't think I really had that much when I came over here as was still doing research on what I would need! but then again I may have had loads of stuff as my memory is awful now!

I'm pretty sure all I had bought before joining this tri was a 0-3 clothing bundle off ebay. I've made up for this now though
