little hope can have 7 oz is that alot for nearly a 2n month old?? she is a right little chunky monkey she is in 3 to 6 month clothes already coz she is so tall x

Wow, I am still using a few of the 0-3 months clothes and quite a few of the 3-6months clothes we were given are still too big for Ellie and she is 4months now. Sorry can't answer the how much question as I BF and have no idea how much she drinks.

yes i think thats quite a lot of milk for her age!!
Louie has 2 5 oz bottles a day (his first bottle & his night bottle) & then the rest of his bottles (4) are all 4 oz, he doesn't seem to want this increased any further yet.
maybe you should talk to your health visitor about putting hope on to hungry baby milk?

Please dont worry, all babies are very different.

My Isabella has nearly tripled her birth weight already and they say they do this usually by the time they are 1 year old.

As long as she is putting on weight I think it is better than her losing or not putting on at all.

Hey, don't worry Littlelady. As Eveadel said, all babies are different.

Kayleigh was on five 9oz bottles a day at 3 months, but Charlie still only has 6 oz per feed, and he very rarely finished the bottle. His 6am feed today was 6 oz, and there are still over 2 oz left!

As long as Hope is happy, you have nothing to worry about with her feeding.

Little lady I also worry but about the opposite. Every night my DH gives leorah a bottle of EBM and she only takes 4oz max but usually no more than 3oz. She also takes less than 10 mins a breastfeed and seems to able to go longer between feeds now though I still feed her every 3 hours. She was 3 weeks early but now weighs over 10lbs and has always put on weight well but she is still in newborn clothes Has anyone elses baby still been in newborn clothes at 10lb+? She has a wardrobe full of 0-3 month clothes that swamp her and ends up wearing babygrows and the one track suit that fits her everyday.

oh god little lady i didn't mean to worry you atall, if you are still concerned then talk to your health visitor, but as the other girls say, as long as Hope is happy then you're doing fine.
i'm not worried that Louie is still basically on the same amount as when he was 4/6 wks old, coz he is happy & steadily putting on weight.

As long as little one is not going up on different lines in your book then its fine what ever she drinks.

Ellis only does between 2-6 ounces each feed but he is 18 pound now and when little was putting on an ounce a week??!!

Keely, how often does Ellis have a feed?? I was getting worried about Katy as since I weaned her off the breast she has only been taking this amount & 2 weeks ago only put on an ounce. Last week was better, she put on 5oz's....feel better now I know she's not the only one!! Does he have a routine at all?? xxx
