how many kittens do you think?

my cat is pregnant and almost ready to drop she is gigantic, bigger than last time (both pregnancies by accident) last time she had 4 kittens all healthy so i thought it'd be fun to guess how many she will have this time then when she has the kittens we can see who guessed it right lol oh and i'll post a pic of her in a bit when she is walking about

cats can fall pregnant again streight after having kittens and the vets do recomend that you leave it a while before getting them spayed after having kittens

that's what happened (we tried our hardest to keep her in the house after having the kittens but she got out without us even knowing)

Yes, ive heard they are little madams when it comes to doing the deed and being 'horny' they will do ANYTHING to get it wont they Anna! Nightmare!

I've had 2 set of kittens too. My cat was a stray we took in who turned out to be pregnant. She got out once during the enitre 12 weeks she was nursing her kittens. Gutted, as keeping a cat indoors for 12 weeks with 5 fiesty kittens is no easy feat! We kept one kitten and they have both been done.

i know its a total nightmare keeping her in, we are doing it atm as she is MASSIVE and ready to pop any time i'm sure of it, we have to put her in the living room then get the kids out and ourselfs and by that time she is back at the door she is very fast when she wants to be, she got out the otehr day but luckkily i caught her and put her back in

I have the same problem with my cat! She's had 2 litters already! Little slapper! She'll try anything to get out, and sometimes succeeds! I even felt her contractions on the second litter!!!

I'd say 4. Don't they get less with each litter usually? Or is that a myth? It may sound stupid as mine's had 3 each litter! Lol

lol no idea i'll be able to tell you soon i hope we get some silver tabbys (she is a silver tabby and had 1 last litter)

yep she is deffo in labour i can feel her contracptions (sp), so i'm being midwife for the day

well after a long and difficult labour she has 2 kittens so far they were both born breech and one after the other, she is resting atm and feeding her kittens, she still looks big so i expect her to have a few more but only time will tell they are black and white (from what i have seen of them so far)

If you really think there are more and she has gone a while without signs of having more watch out for any complecations.

yep i know to make sue she doesn't go too long between kittens , well she now has 4 just had the 4th one, the 3rd was breech as well but the 4th was born normaly while she was giving birth to that one i could feel anotehr so i suspect there might be another on the way possibly 2 if she keeps this up i'll end up fallign asleep on the sofa as she lets me help with cleaning the kittens and rub her belly while having contractions (i think it soothes her having me there)
