i think i bleed till 4 weeks and had a rather odd period at 6 weeks. it was next to nothing & no pain.

back to normal now though

no i failed at breast feeding so that shouldnt be a factor. and like you i bled till 4/5 weeks. but i havent had nothing since

I bled for 1 week after Nathan was born then nothing at all till 11 weeks and I think I only bled then cos I had gone on the pill a few days before.

they say im not allowed to start on my pill again until ive got my first period thats why im asking

Well the doctor said to me thats only ment to be to make sure your not pregnant before you start the pill. As I knew I wasn't she said it was fine as long as i waited the 7 days till I was covered by it.

well im pretty positive im not either, so should it be okay to start it now? but just wait the 7 days?

i am having my first period now, its very heavy and full of clots. (luke is 12 weeks old)

i went on the pill at nearly 9 weeks and i hadn't had a period since having luke, my GP said it was my choice if i wanted to wait or not so i didn't, i'm not sure why you are supposed to wait for a period.

Yeah you should be fine to start taking it now as long as you wait the 7 days. If you have any doubt you could always to a test just to make sure.

Mine still haven't restarted and Ellie is now 9months but I am breast feeding. I did have a bit of bleeding a couple of weeks ago but it only last for 1 day, and was not painful at all. I am wondering if that is possibly my first but I will find out as time goes on.

I bled for 4 weeks after having Brody and haven't had a period yet.
The dr gave me the mini pill and said I can start taking it whenever I want but wait the 7 days!

ive got my first one now.. and its fairly light... but im now on day 14 ( i started taking the pill at the start of this af)

This time it was 7 days and its usually only 4. After I had Aimee my 1st one lasted 2 weeks. They are also a lot heavier than before.
