how long should i bleed?

Hi girls,

Thanks to all who have given me support so far, you are a great bunch of ladies and i'm so glad i found this site

i just want to ask another question if you don't mind.

How long should i bleed after a miscarriage? i thought it would be at least 2 weeks but today is my 3rd day and its like its nearly finished, my cp is closed too? ( i know i probably shouldn't have checked )

My periods usually last longer than this

After my M/C I was told I could bleed for only a few days or it could go on for 2 weeks (the fact that it lasted for 8 wasn't normal). So I think its quite possible that you are stopping.

Yes its pretty normal to stop after only a few days although like Tick-Tock said can go on much longer (mine was 6 weeks).

Thanks girls but i think it was wishfull thinking , its all started again this morning so i expect its going to be an on/off thing for a while yet, oh well, thanks anyway

Yeah I did that a few times, thought id stopped then started again.... hopefully it will stop soon for you hun.

I've been stopped 2 days now.... gawd i hope i dont start again! lol

Basically its taken longer for my womb to be completely clear of pregnancy tissue so my body has carried on bleeding to flush things out.

Yeah i have my fingers and toes crossed!

How heavy is ur bleeding sweety? xxx
