How long for period?

Hi

I stopped taking the pill on 24th may and had my usual withdrawal bleed on 29th may.
I have not had period since but i used the Clearblue opk (more out of interest) on 12th june which showed smiley face ie. peak fertility/ovulation.
Just wondered how long do you think i will have to wait for my period to come?

Hi Carla

I had my withdrawal bleed from the pill on the 1st May and I am still waiting for my first period to arrive. Unfortunately there is no set time frame, some people have periods 28 days after their withdrawal bleed. Some people go over 100 days before having a period.

I have had a look on the net and most people agree to look into seeing a GP after 3 months x

How long is a piece of sting?! My periods never settled in the nine months I had between coming off the pill and falling pregnant with my son. I finished the pill in the September/October and had my first period within 4/5 weeks. I remember having moring sickness like symptoms a few days before AF arrived. After that they gradually became more random until I had my last AF in March. I then never had another AF before falling pregnant. At the end of June I had what I thought was my AF and was actually implantation bleeding with my son.

I went back on the mini pill after having LO for six months and when I came off it last year my periods have settled nicely back into every 3-4 weeks.

Thanks both i wouldnt give it a second thought if it wasnt for the fact the opk showed peak fertility / ovulation - due to this
I assumed my period would have come fairly quickly?
