As the title says really, the longest I bf for is 13 weeks but I can't see me gettin past 6 this time xx

Only a week and a half. She had bad colic very early on and she just brutalised my nipples. Theyve not long recovered lol.

I only wanted to do 6 weeks but Isla won't take a bottle so 18 weeks on I'm still doing it. Thankfully I'm weaning so she's taking some water from a sippy cup so it gives me some time off. Is LO constantly on the boob? X

I'm thinking of starting combination feeding with bottle and expressed breast milk. I can't seem to satisfy lucy s hunger and have had to use top ups since she was born as she is so hungry and I don't have enough milk. I've tried extra expressing to encourage more milk but isn't working, so feel if I continue to have expressed milk she will still have benefits. I feel guilty but feel even worse when she is screaming for more food!! Xx

My nipples are getting a battering too almost feel burned and are going White at the ends!! And that's with using nipple cream!! Xx

I did 6weeks, my milk supply was crap and I have now realised that he was crying all the time because he was always hungry, poor little boy! If you feel u need to give up, don't feel bad, if you are happier then your LO will be too xxx

I'm planning to BF untill he is at least 1 (as I did with my first one) and I can start giving him cows milk. Although I will probably give hime an occasionall bottle of formula if I can't be asked to express and have to leave him with someone for a short time.

Tegan is nearly 18 weeks and Im now stopping, she's Lactose intolerant and Im struggling Not eating dairy i did plan to do 6 months. stop when you feel you need to Hun xx

During the day he goes anywhere between half an hour and 4 hours so I can't plan anything and my 4yo is v demanding so can get v stressful at times. I've got some expressed so might try him with a bottle of my milk later xx

I plan on breastfeeding until Lizzie gets teeth and then we'll see how it goes from there...she does like to 'chomp' a bit so I'm dreading teeth coming through! But if it's still ok then I'll keep going :)

i bf for 8 weeks! switching to formula made both me and bubs alot more happy!

When I was pregnant I said I was going to aim for 6 months. Id like to do longer if possible.

I have wondered about how long people do it for

I obviously have a while until baby is even here yet but I would like to try bf, but doubt I will be able to doit for long due to working and things like that

Well he's proved me wrong today and fed at 7,9,12,1 and half 3 so not bad at all-not sure how long it will last tho xx

i will fully breastfeed for atleast 6 month, preferably 7. But i will probably still BF him 1-2 times a day aslong as i can, i hope 1 year.

At the moment tho, Noa is feed every 2 hours night time, its very draining and i feel sick night time cuz im so tired. I hope its soon getting back to 2 times a night instead of 4-5 times like now..

Well I'd like to give it a good six months . I'm worried about breast feeding , it didn't work out properly for me with Aoibheann and she was syringe fed for the first while . worry by breast feeding I'm being somehow unfair to her . But maybe if i can do it properly it will give me more time to spend with her as apposed to scrubbing bottles ?

I always said 6 months when I was pregnant but now i'm here i'm going to BF for another 6 months until she's on cows milk. I barely notice i'm feeding her now :-) I was really sore to start but if you battle through it, it get's better.
BF babies tend to go shorter between feeds too as BM is more easily digested than formula. I'm still lucky if Evelyn goes 3 hours between feeds.

i absolutely love breastfeeding and will aim until she can have cows milk. i feed her every 2 hours ish. and i give her one or 2 expressed bottles a day, depending on what ive got going on. x

He's just havin his very 1st bottle of expressed milk,dh's feedin him which is nice to see :)
