How long can I lay baby in swing

Hi All,

I bought a swing for my lil one as he always used to stay fine in my lap and I really got tired sitting holding him whole day..thankfully he accepted the swing very well and also sleeps in it..He stays thr during the day..playing looking at the mobile and also takes his nap in it..Is that alright? I was worried that sitting in the swing whole day might be bad for his posture..am I wrong? can moms please advice..

I think they say it's ok for the same time as car seats so about 2 hours then have a 30min break? Charley has his naps in his but he very rarely naps longer than an hour but he has been in there for longer! He also loves his play mat so maybe try your LO with one x.

Mine can have up to 2 hours napping in his but that is once a day if that. He's coming up to 5 months and would get really bored being in one place too much. As long as he has lengthy breaks away from it then he should be fine the rest of his time in there.

Sure I think he likes the rocking motion quite a lot so I will try puttin him in his play mat now..
