Losing your plug did labour start?

With my son, I was already in established labour when my plug went lol. I was only about 1cm dilated though,but my labour was quick and I delivered my son 7 hours later.

Same day. Lost plug early am, started having mild pains a couple of hours after and had my baby by early evening x

Lost my plug after being in early labour for over a day. That's when I realised I was actually in labour and not having BH x

I lost my plug literally as he was coming out! I think it came out with him! Lol x

The Thursday and baby was born Tuesday early hours

I lost a small bit of mine in the afternoon and went into labour that evening. I had a small amount of pink bleeding at the beginning of labour but didn't loose the rest of the plug until well into labour.

Quite a few ladies loose theirs days before but I do wonder if that is often because of having a sweep or internal exam, which I didn't have.

thanks for the replies, i lost mine on friday and have been giddy about labour starting but 4 days later and still nothing

I started losing what I think was my plug about 3/4 weeks before she arrived. Then ot properly sgarted coming away when I had my waters broken during induction x

I had a bloody show at 11am and at about 8pm I started getting contractions xx
