It is weird to have a difference of two weeks but it's based on our cycle.
According to medical science, a pregnancy doesn't start at conception in terms of the reproductive system.
The very first part of a new pregnancy happens when the previous egg went un-fertilised and the uterine lining is emptied...your period.
From the first day of that period, the body goes into "pregnancy mode" beginning the entire cycle of specific hormone production. Without this sequence ot hormose release, like the estrogen that leads to the lh surge, conception would be impossible as no eggs would mature and no follicles would know to release one. So...the actual conception is not the beginning of your pregnancy in medical terms
Hope that makes sense.
Congratulations on your bfp xx
