When you need your friends around you they're nowhere to be seen?
I'm feeling so anxious about Friday that I don't even wanna leave the house and no one seems to be giving a shit
Plus dad's away in for his little op today so thats got me worried sick too!

Just feel like

Some gentle distraction would have gone down a treat today!
Only two days left of denial before I gotta face this c section And i know that means I'm gonna be seeing my boy but I just can't get excited which totally sucks!!! I feel really bad for not being excited just this stupid fear over shadowing everything! grrrr

I no how you feel it probably dont help with us both having depression before, any sign of anything going wrong and it throws it back. I havent got any friedns to really talk to and the only person i can talk to is my OH and he seems to think there was a chance from the day i got pregnant that i could have a section but hes getting just as worried as me and he doesnt know half of it. Im sure that friday will go well and once you see your little man you will forget everything, i no its hard thinking about it now as i cant even imagine being able to look at mine after hes made me go thru all that but i guess maternal instincts will take over x

I know what you mean, its horrible when you need some social interaction and havent got the energy to keep up with everyone

I know its easy for me to say, but try not to worry about the section. Why dont you pack baby's bag again, get out all the little nappies and baby grows, maybe decide which outfit youre gonna dress him in first and which outfit youre gonna take him home in. It will make it all feel more real then, youre really going to have your baby by the weekend

I'm such na depressing lump eh?
I should be super excited cause I've waited all this bloody time to meet him! And don't get me wrong, I can't wait to see him and squish his little face, bit his bum, the usual Just feel like it's really tainted with all my worrying. And I still can't decide if I'm gonna go under general or have the spinal
I wish I could fall asleep just now and wake up holding my little boy!
I think I'm a bit down as well because these are my last few days of just me and Eva. It's been just us for a long time and that's all changing on Friday. Makes me quite teary to think about. But she really has had enough and wants her little brother out "right now peease mummy!"

Hope you feel better soon. I feel the same about the possibility of a c-section. A 'friend' of mine was like "Oh I bet you're well gutted!" in a jokey way! She thought it was funny!! Idiot! She still cant see why i'll be so worried if I have to have one.
All you can do is look at the positives in this situation which might be difficult to do but try your best You're going to be great no matter which route you go! Xx

I remember feeling a little sad at the thought of it not being just my boy and me when Eva was born, but then felt guilty when she was here for not spending as much time with her as i had done my son at the same age - you just can't win xxx It must be horrid being so nervous about section and as much as we tell you to try and stay calm - its easier said than done so sending you lots of calming vibes xxxxummmmmmmmmmmmmmxxxxxummmmmmmmmmmmxxxxxxx
