Wow amy that is really good. i think i might keep my eyes open for things like that too - it's pointless paying a fortune for things you aren't going to use for very long!!
Most things I have so far have been second hand. I have found Car Boots the best thing (but with the season changing - this may not be any good now - they tend to stop in October) I have tons and tons of new born babygrows, bibs, hats, mittens you name it! Most of it was 20p each! a complete bargain and all really nice stuff too.
A lot of the stuff I also got from car boot is Next clothes - tons of t-shirts, babygros etc - my friend also collects me loads of things when she goes!!
I also look out for speical offers at the supermarket for buy one - get one free on babywipes, and all those kind of baby things.
Our pram, moses basket, bouncer will all be second hand. I bought a Tomy baby carrier from Oxfam last weekend for £2.00!!!!! I was well chuffed as cheapest one I have seen so far is £25.00
