i was just wondering as im having a 'debate' with my mummy
wot house work do u have to do everyday ie laundry etc
wots do u do every other day
wot do u do weekly etc?

Daily: washing up and hoovering, moping kitchen floor.

laundry gets done when its needed

i try to make sure i wipe down surfaces (i.e comp desk and coffee table) every other day

thing is, ive got 2 dogs, so the place needs hoovering daily, otherwise there is dog hair and bits of toys everywhere.

the bathroom doesnt get done as much as it should really. ill have to get onto that one

lucky you lol. my 2 are clean, but they like to shred there toys sometimes lol. and as they are border collies, they moult

i used to be a perfectionist and everything would be done almost daily! but since becoming pregant and exhausted i only do the washing up, laundry and general tidying around daily. bathroom is cleaned as it is used, which is obviously daily.

hoovering, dusting and ironing has been cut back to once a week cos of my back. luckily there are only 2 of us most of the time so it stays pretty clean and tidy (oh is sooooo messy though!)

its a five bedroom house, if i tried to keep it immaculate i would be in the hospital. its always tidy though.

i used to dust and hoover every day with dishes every otherday or so.

Now i hoover when i can - once a week or so, dusting the areas only people will notice lol, as for clearing up? r u kidding, this kid despite not even being 6 months has a bigger enterage than mariah!

daily: cooking, dishes, wiping tables and kitchen top, sink, cooker etc.

once every two - three days: hoovering (carpet is usually very clean, no animals, no babies yet!)

when it's needed: laundry, ironing, dusting

I don't hoover

I got wooden floors They get swept every other day or so, and moped with disinfectant maybe 2 some times 3 times a week ( i too have 2 little dogs) dishes get done after we eat tis ma pet hate and wont sleep with dirty dishes in the sink

Bathroom shower gets cleaned while im in it and the sink washed out while i brush ma teeth,

My problem zone is our bedroom, tis so small with so much in it, it drives me insane especially since i spend most my time in there now

every 2-4 days: laundry (clothes), vaccuuming, change cat litter, clean toilet

weekly: clean bathroom, clean floors, clean hamster cage, change bedding

less often: clean windows, clean woodwork (doorframes, skirtings etc.) wash curtains, clean carpets

I do everything daily!! APart from a Sunday - thats the day of rest!!

Daily I cook, sweep & mop all the floors, clean shower & bathroom, do dishes, washing, ironing, dust/wipe doesn surfaces, make beds, hoover bedroom.

Only thing I do weekly is the garden.

Vac - twice a week and as necessary (living room is every day if not twice a day!)
Dust - thoroughly like wiping switches and doors etc every week and then once as needed. extra thorough once a month (skirtings, edges, uphostery etc)
Bathroom - once a week but we all wipe it clean after using the bath/sink.
Kitchen - thoroughly once a week and wipe surfaces and sink after every use.

Don't use many chemicals, use water and tiny bit of washing up liquid in a bottle to dust. Stardrops is great for sinks and bathrooms and washing floors. Use rags to clean and wash them on a hot wash. Just bought a new miele vacuum and love it!!!!

Laundry (tea towels, dish cloths, mats etc)

Every Week:
Floors & Skirting boards
Windows
Bed sheets, blankets etc

As and when needed:
Ironing
Cleaning out of the oven/microwave etc
Watering of plants, herbs and greenhouse produce
Sweeping of decking, driveways, paths etc
Laundry (duvets, curtains, rugs etc)

I'm sure there are other things I do too but I just can't think of them!!

*washing up, clean the kitchen and mop the floors and washing everyday

Then every 2 days i do the
*bathroom and the hooverin (as keeley hates the hoover and screams )

Once a week i do
*ironing (as i hate it )

Oh and every two weeks i chance my bed

Every few days, clean laminate floor, put clean washing away, clean bathroom

weekly : hoover the stairs and landing.

Don't get me wring my house is still a mess The 3 kids mess it up all day long.
