This may sound silly but where do you keep your hospital bag when you go into hospital, will it be locked away or is it with you all the time? I'm just thinking of valuable things like money and my mobile phone.
Mine was kept in the bedside cabinet next to the bed and whenever I got moved we had to take it with us. Just make sure anything you take in of value you keep in your hand bag as sometimes your bigger bags might get brought down by a nurse or someone.
