Hi all, firstly thank you to everyone who sent messages via hubby, i was quite shocked he actually knew how to get on here and tell you all .. goes to show how much i know eh!

Anyways ive had a rough few days, really didnt think the baby was gonna stay put, Started bleeding sunday afternoon, didnt think to much of it as i had done alot that day. walked 9 miles omg, cleaned the house top to bottom, so i just had a bath and posted in my diary on here, then went to bed..

2 am woke up in a pool of blood, sorry if tmi

Woke mark up who contacted my mum to pick the boys up took her an hour to get here as she lives in louth bless her, anyways got to the hospital, 3.15am, was seen to a side room and left, i had no bloods taken, no examination nothing was told to rest and the docs would be round soon...

9 am monday morning docs came to see me, and i could show him what i had lost as mark kept it, sorry again if tmi but it was like a small peice of bloodied chicken, he took one look and decided i needed examining, they then found i was still bleeding and asked the midwife to take some bloods to check my counts etc,

All through monday i was having slight contractions so they decided before interveing to do anything else they would see how that went, they finally settled about 3 in the morning (tuesday) in the meantime they was preparing me for a early birth and looking at transfering me out to somewhere that had a nicu bed for baby, so glad it all stopped you have never seen such a relieved mummy lol..

It was decided at 6pm monday i would have a scan if all was well, on tuesday,

Omg i am so dissapointed i was made to feel like a right lier, anyway i had my scan and saw the heartbeat he was jumping around like no ones buisness in there, he was having a wale of a time, anyway they then saw that some of the placenta had come away and its low lying, which is what initailly caused me to bleed, i think all the excersise i had done just proved to much for it all to handle etc and it broke away, i was put on a drip to control my fluids as i had lost a lot of blood, i was actually relived something was being done,

Well to say im disgusted at the hospital is a massive judgememnt, something should have been done quicker instead of leaving me for all those hours, i have had a early labour with bradley my youngest son i thought as that happened they would respond quicker.. noooo i was so wrong..

Im sorry about my rant i feel so heartbroken and down in the dumps about whats happened, i need to get it out so baby can lead a stress free mummy if u like lmao..

Anyways took some pics when i got home, to prove baby is still in there lol..

First pic is of me when i was 19 weeks,

Hi Fiona

I'm sorry to read about your treatment at the hospital. It's enough of a worrying time without feeling you aren't getting the proper treatment! :(

It's good that you are back home now though. I'm sure you feel a lot better in your own home and with your boys around you. Just make sure you don't overdo things or be tempted to walk another 9 miles for the rest of this pregnancy!

Take it easy

i can copletely understand how u feel. i had a bleed at 18 weeks ( nothing like your experience though) and it took 4 days for me to get to see a midwife....... i was worried sick. luckily everything was ok but i was not very pleased i was left not knowing for so long. they said because the bleeding had stopped by the time a saw them that all they would do was check for heart beat. i was not impressed at all.

It's good that you're home and everything is ok in there! It must have been horrible to go through something like that.

glad you are home and LO has decided to stay in your tummy
