My husband is working so hard at the moment and spending a lot of time away from home. We have decided to book a hol for Feb/March and are unsure of where to go. LO will be 7/8 months and as we could be in the middle of weaning a bit unsure about going abroad, but would do it if anyone had any fab recommendations. Uk would be ok to. Just want somewhere to relax and spend a bit of quality time together

I flew to america with Ella when she was 6 months old and I can honestly say it was no trouble atall. I think the main thing is to be over organised take everything you can think of just incase and you'll be fine! how about a nice relaxing week in a villa in spain, you have all the amienities there and a lovely pool to relax around ?

We're going to Mexico in 6 weeks time, Jamie will be 7 months then. I'm nervous about it but i'm sure it'll be fine.
I'll take the formula with me so know he'll have his milk & i'm going to take packet food that you just mix with cooled boiled water (i'll use bottled water in the kettle - will take my own travel kettle) also going to take rusks/melba toast/breadsticks for him to munch on too.
We've also bought a mini travel mouli so I can puree food in the restaurants for him.

I'll let you know how we get on :D

How about Jersey? My Oh and I travelled there as a surprise for my birthday back in July when Naomi was 7 months old. It's a lovely place, the shopping district has a Boots and M&S and all the home places so you can get jars of food for baby if you are stuck, and there are plenty of nice beaches and sights within 20 minutes' drive.

It gets a bit claustrophobic if you stay for more than a week but otherwise it's a nice, family friendly sort of place that isn't too different to home, but not the same either!

And then there are always the Jewellers!

Diamonds are a girl's best friend!
:cheer: :cheer:
