I'm looking for holiday ideas for a 20month old. I don't think going abroad would be the best idea so looking for somewhere in the UK that can keep her occupied and entertained.

I'm also looking to book Disneyland Paris for her 2nd birthday if anyone can offer any advice on the best place to book to get a good deal. I'm heading in October if there is anything I can pre-book in Disneyland.

xx

If you don't want to go abroad, maybe a Haven caravan would be good? Things on site to occupy little one, and they're usually near the beach so there'd be things to do through the day. I don't know where you are but there's loads to do on the south coast.

Centre Parcs or Butlins is great for toddlers - we've done both several times and it's been great whatever his age x

A friend has recommended somewhere in North Devon that we have booked for July called Coulscott House (you can google it). It has an indoor pool, soft play area, little animal feeding place etc. I'll let you know what it's like at the end of July when I get back!

Is there a particular reason why you don't fancy abroad?
Travel times, cost, weather etc?
We are taking our 2.5 yr old and 8 month old to Menorca in 2 weeks. We chose there as its a short flight and great for families. We have a hotel that caters very well for small children, great kids pool, park etc
I've always wanted to do centre parks but find them so expensive.

A Haven holiday may be a good idea, lots of entertainment on all day for children, pools, outdoor play areas etc you just can't guarantee the weather x

Would recommend haven too (also cheaper than center parcs).

We've been to primrose valley which is on east cost of Yorkshire

Also I'd be happy to go abroad too-we've done it a couple of times and depending on what time of year you're thinking if, it can be as cheap to go abroad

Last year we stayed in a caravan by lake garda in Italy..my boy was nearly 2.5 and he loved it

We're just back from Center Parcs and can't recommend enough. You can do it as cheap or expensive as you want. We got a great deal then ate mostly in our chalet. Planning your activities ahead of time helped us budget too x

We went to Presthaven and it was absolutely crap but from reading reviews it seems that this is not typical of Haven parks as a whole. I used to love Centre Parcs, we went yearly as I was growing up but since it's been sold on (it was about 4-5 years ago?), I've heard really mixed reviews so could be touch and go. Sorry, not very helpful! If you do try Centre Parcs, Sherwood Forest is the best imo - quite a small park, relatively flat for little legs and everything in easy walking distance.

I'm talking my baby who will be 5 months when we go to Bluestone in South Wales. It's like center parcs. We're also going to Jersey (Channel Islands) in August as he doesn't need a passport and we're going on the ferry.
I think the Channel Islands are just lovely, really relaxing and if the weather is good it really is brilliant. Also I don't have to worry about water, food, flying, extreme heat or delays/long transfers! X

We went to Menorca when me and my sister were little. Had a couple of amazing holidays there, I hope you all enjoy it too!

We're going to a Hoseasons park in September for a few nights and it'll be our first holiday away (they'll be 3.5 and almost 2 years old). We chose to go away in the UK first as I didn't want to be hassled with flights and also we couldn't really afford it. Will definitely be looking to go abroad next year though!
