Holiday @ 11 months

One of my what will they be doing questions!! hehe

Ellis will be 11 months old when we go to spain on a COACH!!! MIL's idea Can anyone tell me......

How many bottles will he be having by then?
What should he be eating?

I guess it really depends on you hun but I would say 1 -2 bottles. We give Jamie a bottle with his breakfast & one just before bed now (he's 8 1/2 months) & will prob carry on doing that until he's a year old then drop the breakfast one.
As for eating, he can have practically anything you have as long as its mushy/soft/pureed enough, I guess some of that does depend on how many pegs he has by then.
Jamie has what we eat just mashed/pureed up at the mo.(he wasn't to keen on chicken korma tho ) & will feed himself biscuits, breadsticks, bananas etc. Not entirely sure how well they eat/chew at 11 months, we still got 3 to go!

Good luck tho. sitting on a coach all that time, has he got his own seat?

thanks nicky. Do u just mash jamies food with a fork now or a blender still?

I made sure Ellis had his own sit, MIL wanted him to share as there was enough people to pass him round, but I got vocal about it and said i would pay the difference!!

Getting Ellis his own seat is wise. When we went on holiday in November we paid for an extra seat on the flight & it made such a difference, we're going away again in a couple of weeks time & don't have a seat for him, dreading it!

It depends on what the food is if we mash it but generally i'll just give it a quick whizz with the Moulinex hand held mixer thing! He can eat small soft stuff as it is, like rice.
He had sceambled egg with spaghetti hoops (chopped up slightly) for his lunch & he loves that with banana for pud!

We have booked a holiday today for September, Jacob will be 16 months. We are going to Spain, where we went when we conceived Jacob! It will be a different holiday this time round tho and you never know I may be expecting again
