Hit my tummy

I'm panicking, I was carrying a plastic tray and I walked into the door with it... it hit me really hard in the lower abdomen with the corner, I phoned 111 and physically I know the baby is protected by the pubic bone but since t happened this afternoon I've had really strong squeezing pains and now they're getting worse... what should I do? Am I panicking unnecessarily?
All knowledge and reason has gone out the window and I'm in full blown anxiety mode

How many weeks are you? It's unlikely that you've done any damage, but you could contact your epu and see if they'll see you?

12+3 my 12 weeks scan is tomorrow but the anxiety is almost unbearable I can't stop sweating and shaking

Easy to freak out but honestly think baby will be fine. Like you said baby is well protected right now.

But to ease your fears I'd phone the epu if you're worried about the cramps. I did something similar with dd at 16 week ish and it was all fine xx

Jamie....what times your scan today? How is the pain now?.i remember someone from april mummies thread falling over in her bedroom and hitting her tummy. She went for an early scan and everything was ok and like you said everything is well padded. Hope you get on ok today x

Scan isn't until tomorrow x
The cramps are still there :/ and I've had an unpleasant bowel movement (sorry tmi!)
when I was pregnant with my daughter my horse full on booted me in the bump at 17 weeks and she was okay... I still can't stop the worry �� Epu can't fit me in so I'm going to have to try and relax until tomorrow x thanks for the reassurance everyone xxx

You've probably got the squits through stress - it happens to me all the time! Maybe that explains the pain too?

I read a story in a magazine once about a lady whose tummy was ran over by a car at 13 weeks and everything was fine.

I think that if you'd done any damage you'd probably be bleeding by now.

Very strong cramps now to the point of doubling over.. no bleeding though? If this is a horrible coincidence it so cruel �� Please don't let it happen now! I would blame myself forever

I'm sure it's fine we've all had accidents pregnant hun honestly. You could have hurt yourself with everything being loose. But baby is probably fine. I think you'd have bled like juice said if baby wasn't okay . But if they're that painful and you're that worried I would just turn up at epu. Hugs xx

In a fair bit of pain, my scan is at 1pm so just trying to calm my nerves a bit x thank you all for the support it really does help! Especially with my anxiety very grateful to have somewhere to post all of this!

Baby has heartbeat and is big! Just walking about to see if it will change position as they can't measure the nuchal fold or the nasal bone lol! Awkward already!
