Just joined up! Actually, I'm a guy - am I even allowed on here, lol?

My girlfriend and I are expecting our little baby girl in January (10th) next year and everything is going well I am happy to say!!

However, I don't really know anyone with kids so wanted to jump on here and hopefully get chatting with some other dads to be, or even mums - to help me get lots of stuff off my chest! Oh, and to make sure I'm not going mad!!

i think 9 weeks or so!! i think all this nursing Emma is preparing me well for baby! actually i really like helping out, although the nappy business is going to be a shock :-/

Yeah my partner is buzzing now and again he gets excited just he said he is finding it hard to get attached to my bump as he can't feel baby move as much as me and that x

yeh little baby girl - imogen, skye, bailey, er few others I've forgotten lol the list is at home!!

the bump is moving loads now! yesterday it was trying to get out! havnt got a clue how it must feel but if i start talking to it she generally stops upsetting mum!! actually we try and read to her in the evenings and we did play some music to her!! girls aloud! lols

the other thing I am getting used to is being woken up in the night with Emma moving around in bed! not sure when we both last slept the whole night without waking up! guess that's good practice for when baby arrives!

Yeah my OH is the same I move about alot as I can't stay on one side too long I used to move from side to side before I was pregnant, But more so now lol.

I actually get more sleep when I hog the whole bed tee hee but he doesn't stay away from home too long as he misses me x

yeh the bed business is funny, I often end up in the spare room as I can't get back to sleep!
actually nothing has changed much, never got the duvet before baby was on the way!
