Hi,

I'm 27 and new to all this.

Me and the hubby have been trying for a baby since July this year. I came off the pill in June and my periods have just become regular. I know 5 months isn't very long but it feels like a life time! Plus I work along side the health visitors, so I'm surrounded by babies and new mums all the time!

Like a lot of u, we've decided not to tell anyone were TTC. It’s really hard keeping it from our family but we feel it’s more pressure them knowing?!

After reading some of your threads, it’s comforting to know lots of u are in the same positions. But it’s really hard trying not to get carried away, as with each passing month I want it more and more! Silly I know.

Anyway enough on me, how do I get these pop ups and calculators on here?

Hi welcome to the forum. im 27 too and been trying with hubby since july

I believe you need to have done a certain amount of posts before you can add a ticker at the bottom f ur comment boxes...but the ay to do it is to find one on someone thread you like and click on it. it directs you to site to create your own personal one then with your own details. once youve creatdd it you copy and paste the code and on ur "user CP" at top of this page you put it in under ur signature link

Hiya, welcome to the forum I know its so hard being around others pg or babies when you desperatly want your bfp. 5mths isnt long your right, but its long enough when you when it so bad, totally understand. Come along to the 2ww thread in this section, you will get lots of support during your ttc journey from us all. We help each other out i.e questions etc. About the pop ups, calculators ... you mean tickers lol ?

Go to your user cp at the top of your page & on the left hand side is a list, go to signiture & it will open a box, there you can write how long you been ttc or put in a image url from a ticker you find on the internet.

Hi Bellarina / Start33, yeah I meant tickers, Lol. It’s like a whole new language on here!

I'll have a look on the 2ww thread too.


Its crazy isn't it, every month I feel some little twinges or sharp pains and I think oh I must be pregnant, but clearly I’m not! But why don’t we notice these little pains while we were taking contraception?! I knew this would be a frustrating time but I really didn't think I would be caught up in this obsession of it all!
