I apologize if I am on the wrong thread here,I couldnt find one that quite fitted my current status. So it has been over a year since I last was active on here. Although not planned, I had a BFP in August last year....sadly that ended in a missed miscarriage I had to take the abortion pill to 'clear' my uterus and I was not warned of the potential pain involved, it ended up being a night in hospital and lots of pain relief and an awful lot of stress and heartache. They also discovered some small uterine fibroids. We got through it and still going strong as a couple.

In August, I went to the doctor regarding hormonal problems, weight gain etc. I had been on Cerezette for about 4 years and noticed rapid weight gain, he took bloods and Thyroid etc was all normal. So he advised that I came off the pill for at least 3 months so he could then take bloods to check for things like PCOS ( he said he cant test for things like that whilst on the pill). I am due to go back for more bloods in December/ January. This obviously raised the question as to whether I might have PCOS or similar and that is the cause of the MC...who knows.

So, I have now been off the pill for 2 months, I had a withdrawal bleed on 26th September (5 weeks after stopping the pill) which only lasted about 3 days. I had my first 'proper period' starting 23rd October which lasted 6 full days. So, I am expecting AF to arrive either on Sunday or Monday. We are not actively TTC but have agreed that if it happens then it happens....it wouldnt be the most ideal time right now as I just started a new job. We are taking precautions as far as he is 'pulling out' on my supposedly 'infertile days' and we use condoms for around 5 days around the time I should ovulate. However, we do occasionally get carried away, particularly over the last 4 days or so...I believe I should have ovulated about 1 week ago, but usually 10 days or so before AF arrives I get very heavy, sore boobs....I have had nothing this month at all and today I see I have EWCM....which prompted me to look to you ladies for advice! I am not too sure what is going on. Have I not ovulated at all, am I ovulating now? Am I pregnant? I think it is unlikely I am pregnant as my previous experience I had extremely sore and rapidly growing boobs.

My periods are usually regular, when on the pill I did not have periods at all but prior to thats they were regular and annoyingly heavy!

Sorry for the essay and thanks in advance for any advice at all.

Hi Lara. I'm sorry for your loss last year but it's good that you and OH are still going strong. Im Afraid I have very little advice to offer but i didnt want go read and run. It may well be that you have ovulated later. Bc can do all sorts of weird and wonderful things. Also our bodies can do all sorts of weird and wondercul things too. I started my periods when I was 12. I'm now 38. Always had fairly regular 'normal' cycles. This month I've bled 3 times in a month. I think the best thing would be to take a test and see what happens there. When are you expecting AF? Fx you get the outcome you want x

Thanks for the reply. I am expecting AF either Sunday or Monday...but still absolutely none of my usual pre AF symptoms! So we shall see!x

So AF due either yesterday or today, I am unsure of my cycle lengths at the moment as I have not been off the pill for long enough for them to be consistent but the last one was 27 days. My boobs started to get sore on Thursday. Not feeling any AF like symptoms other than that yet but still staying calm and waiting. I am feeling a little nervous, I have no doubt that I want to have a baby in the not too distant future but as I said above right now is not the ideal timing. I guess there is never a right time though!

You could try doing a pregnancy test...might put your mind at rest. It's normal to get EWCM before AF.

Hey, I’m sorry for your loss last year. But happy you and oh still going strong. Yes you’re situation is a little precise and not the norm so it’s hard to say! I would take a test if you don’t have af by Friday!

I hope you get the result you want!
