Hiya, I'm Kaylee and I'm exactly 27 weeks pregnant today!! I have a 3 yr old already and am married.

I have a bit of a mingin question which I hope you can help me with! The other day I noticed I had a wart on my finger so popped down to Boots and bought the Scholl Freeze stuff. So I used it this morning, but realised after that it says not to use in pregnancy!! Why would this be? Should I be panicking?

Hi Kaylee,

Not sure why but I think there are some chemicals in those treatments that can get into the bloodstream and so could affect blood flowing to LO.. I expect it is minimal but to be sure I would ask your GP or midwife. These days the pharmaceutical companies have to cover their arses and put precautions on the packets..

Just call your MW or GP they will tell you if OK or not.. or look up the chemicals on the internet to see if they are dangerous..

Firstly welcome to the third trimester!!

I am sure anna marie is right that they are covering there arses but check with your midwife just incase.
