Hi there, I got my BFP on Monday, so only known a few days. I haven't had a period since before I had my daughter who is now 26 months! She is still breastfeeding (a lot) so I have no idea how many weeks I am but symptoms started a week before the BFP approx so probably 6 weeks or so? Line was very strong.

Anyway, I was on here for my first pregnancy so thought I would come back as otherwise I'll bore my mummy friends with tales of my nausea and exhaustion (both of which are crap already!)
First time mummies, please sleep as much as you can, it's much harder this time with no napping and lie ins etc!!

Opinions welcome on my weeks based on the test pic!

xx

You already know my guess! I almost feel like actually monetary bets should be put down about this!! X

Ahh lovely, congratulations!! :)

Oh I'm going to guess 8 months... :bum:

Hi and welcome umbongo I reckon your 8 weeks with that line. I would get to the mw and see if you can get an early scan done xx

The earliest they can see me is 27th Nov. Hoping I'll be booked for a dating scan then! Exciting to find out, I really have no way of knowing! Can't be too far though as no bump :-)

I'll guess 7 weeks :). Maybe you will be able to join our June mummies thread! That is a really strong line. I got pregnant while breastfeeding too but I got one period to warn me and started doing OPKs so I'd know where I was at.

I keep reading so much about people's periods stopping when breastfeeding is that common? I bf for 18 months and my periods were back almost immediately. I did produce a lot of milk though and I only stopped leaking when my son was 5. It did lower my sex drive but that's about all. Meh probably not the best place to ask this question but it got me thinking.

Oh and my guess .... 10 weeks.

Hello I remember you :) you were pregnant around the time of my 1st miscarriage. Good to see you back! I remember you were always really helpful with advice!

It is pretty common for the first 6 months and easily a year if they feed day and night at regular intervals. Less common after that purely because children tend to feed less and people go back to work as well. My daughter and I are rarely apart and we cosleep most of the night, and she never sleeps through, so they all contribute.
It seems to be quite different person to person though, I have several friends who ebf but then got periods really quickly.
It's quite a lovely benefit I have found, as periods are horrid! :-)

You can take a test with clear blue; it will tell you how many weeks pregs you are.

I did buy an expensive digi. That showed up 3+ , and that's as high as it goes, so not very illuminating as I knew I was at least 5 weeks from the strong line!

Hi, congratulations :)

I got two very dark lines at 4+4 so it's hard to say, your scan should tell you more though.

My periods returned when my youngest was almost 17 months old. Hoping for a similar break from them with this one lol.

That's impressive, not twins is it? :-)
I was comparing mind to last time, but that's futile really. I just really want to know!

I did wonder, umbongo!

This was my test at 4+4

Also my jeans are already too tight and my boobs have gone up a cup size lol.

Will know more at my booking in appointment if I'm measuring big or if they hear two heartbeats LOL!
