well i had a lovely time away but the dreaded witch showed up early hours of sunday 12th..

so on to the nxt cycle..

i must admit this was a weird AF, i started 2 spot a little on saturday and early sunday morning it was a little heavy but by monday night it was gone..
so that was a little weird..

also i had a hospital appointment on wednesday cus my ob/gyne said my thyroids wern't working properly and it's come up that i have under active thyroids..
which can cause infertility aswell which i didn't know that.. apparantly with under active thyroids u can be ready 4 pregnancy but ur hormones is telling ur body it isn't, so the doc said i can catch but the egg might not implant but he did say that he's had a few ladies get pregnant so there is still a chance that it might implant if i caught, but he's put me on meds which i have 2 take 4 the rest of my life now but hey if it means i have a better chance of losing weight and becoming pregnant i'll give it a go..

hope i didn't miss much on here when i was away..
xxx

sorry she got you hun
underactive thyroids run in our family - atm I'm the oldest female member of my family not to be diagnosed. My mum and nan no longer have thyroid glands - they both had them removed as they started to cause problems with benign growths etc.

My mum has had an underactive thyroid since she was v young, using thyroxine tablets instead. She had 6 children so give yourself a chance to settle into the medication and you'll probably be fine

Sorry to hear she got you. Glad you had a nice holiday. Lets hope the meds will help you get pg!

Hi there, sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. :(

I too have an underactive thyroid - diagnosed at the age of 15 and have been on medication ever since. I found that as long as you keep taking your medication - and helps if you take it same time every day - and don't overdo things then you should find that your levels comeback to normal relatively quickly.

Try not to let it get you down and just remember - don't forget to take your medication!!
