I'm new to this site

I'm 38 yrs old and about 7 weeks preg with second (first is 17yrs old) so big gap in between.

This pregnancy was a suprise as I have only been pregnant twice before this in my life and lost second one about 5yrs ago at 8weeks. So begining to think I couldn't have any more.

It's not been pleasant last few weeks, felt really ill. But last few days all symptoms stopped! Had a little bit of pain and brown discharge and blood streaks 3 days ago but nothing since but as my symptoms have stopped I'm worrying something is up. (Felt like this last time I lost).

Midwife is coming out to see me today and I have so many questions for her, I am such a worrier!

Any of you other ladies going through something similiar?

Welcome It is such a worrying time!! I am having brown discharge and have been for a week now. I had an early scan at 8w 3d and all was fine, thank god. Doc has signed me off work for a bit.

I have not had many other symptoms. Sore boobs, a bit more headachey and dizzy than usual.

Absolutely terrified at the mo (scan was only reassuring for about 6 hours, but made it more "real"...just taking each day at a time, which is all we can do.
