Just wanted to say a big hello to you all! Didn't think I was gonna make it into Tri 2, but looks like my little angel is still fighting in there!

Just a quick question: have any of you had sickness during Tri 2? I lost 9lbs in about 2 weeks from not being able to keep anything down and not wanting to eat. Just getting my appetite back now and feeling better, but not sure I'm over the worst of it yet!

Hello. Glad you made it here. Hope she's doing well. I'm still getting quite a lot of sickness. I've lost of bit of weight but probably ony a couple of pounds. Hopefully sickness will end soon

I lost just under a stone in my puking weeks. My mid wife told me not to worry as the baby will take everything it needs from mum. The only down side was me feeling weak, dizzy and tired. i had about six weeks of it, but I'm sure there are some girlies in here who've suffered longer. It's only the past 2/3 weeks that my real appetite for scoffing everything has come back.

With regards to the sickness I had it til 18wks with my first and til 15wks with this one (although did puke a few more times up til 22wks). Hope yours subsides soon

i have been feeling sick and nauseous until about last week, since then it has improved, but still i have the day when i get up and i'm sick. and i never lost any weight!!!!

Hi! Welcome to Tri 2, glad you are here and things are going well!

With regards to the sickness, I felt ill up until around 3 weeks ago. I never actually threw up, just felt nauseous and certain foods turned my stomach, hope you will start to feel better soon.

Hi sounds like you had a tough 1st tri so it is good to see you here I lost 11lbs (5kg) and have only put 6lb back on still and that is only in the last 4 weeks. I still feel sick alot now and am sick once or twice a week they do say one of the most common reasons for nauseau and sickness is really high levels of hcg some woman find it harder to deal with so take it as good news hun

Hope you start feeling better soon and can settle down and enjoy tri 2 with no more worries

As regards morning sickness, I stopped throwing up every day around fifteen weeks. It hasn't entirely gone though and I'm 26 weeks today. Last time I threw up was about a fortnight ago. I wish it would bugger off completely but once every two-three weeks is a lot better than every day, that's for sure!
