I’m 36+2, full of cold and severe SPD. And now the insomnia starts!

DH has been sleeping in spare but my sister is visiting so he was in bed with me. But he coughs and constantly tosses and turns so this doesn’t help. So about 1 I came down to sleep on sofa, must’ve dropped off around 3.30 but just been woken by bladder and congestion! Feeling totally rotten and longing for a decent nights sleep. Had it in my first pg too but didn’t have a toddler to contend with then!

Anyone else suffering? Sorry for totally self indulgent ranty post!

I really do feel for you. Ive just gotten over a cold, took 3 weeks to get rid!! Although i am still coughing. Everyone else had it for a few days. My immune system must be totally crap. I hope u get well soon x

Oh no... hope it eases for you soon. Much easier when there isnt another one to run around after, isnt it?! Xx

I feel your pain. I have a cough that keeps making me sick

Hope you feel a bit better soon xx

Thanks ladies! Sometimes helps knowing you’re not alone?!

Managed a couple of hours sleep but that was it. In bed now but feel really wired. Have humidifier on and covered in Vicks so fx!

Our immune systems are crap when pg as our bodies focus on the baby. So a gp once told me anyway! Hope everyone is back to full health soon, just in time for sleepless nights!Xx

I had an awful cold in September for a couple of weeks and the only thing I could try to help was hot water and lemon while I was at work xx
