Herbal teas - not good steer clear!

My doctor and midwife told me its ok to drink fruit teas and requested that i drink ginger tea to sooth nausea and help when i had food poisoning.

I thing there are so many mixed opinions about herbal/fruit teas these days.

To be honest iv totally cut coffee out (I dont drink cola or fizzy drinks. Well the odd sip here and there if im really thirsty or just need a little bit of a pick me up) and switched to one cup of tea a day or just a glass of milk for breakfast.

I stick to decaf tea or coffee, water and sugar free vimto (bit of an addict with that) also fresh orange juice.

I've been drinking the occasional peppermint tea to help with the bloating indigestion and changed to decaf tea as soon as I found out I was pregnant. No more than one or two cups of peppermint tea a day and only on a really bad bloaty day though. I'm not really much of a tea drinker anyway. As a treat every now and then I make myself a decaf cappuccino.
