Yesterday I experienced a cpl of mins of really sharp and pain that resulted in my having to double over to try and ease it. Today it has just happened again. Has anyone had this and been ok? Xx

I had this and it was unfortunately ectopic pregnancy - although I know some people can get cramps badly in a normal pregnancy.

I would advise speaking to your GP asap just to rule out ectopic as this can be life threatening if left untreated xx

Fortunately I am on shift today at the same hospital I went to for my ivf treatment and the clinic scanned me there and then. It's not ectopic. Too early for a heartbeat but saw a little sac. I have a touch of ovarian hyperstimulation....fluid in my abdomen and my ovaries are still very swollen so these could be the cause of the pain. Took my bloods and will get my proper early scan in a few weeks time xx

Ahh thats good news that its not that phewf - I dont like to scare people by saying that but its better for people to get checked out & be sure

Funny you mention the ovaries because I went into A&E with bad cramps at 9weeks & 4days which turned out to be PCOS on my left ovary & it was causing me pain.

Glad you get any early scan!!

Feeling relieved. Clinic were great. Phoned me with results too. My levels are where they should be for 5 weeks. Clinic don't seem concerned. Go again at the end of the month for first proper scan xx

I had really bad cramping
Itd make me jump into clutching myself from a deep sleep
Was horrible
But apparently all was fine!
