Noa keeps standing up in his cot at naptime. What do I do I been in and out of that room for 40 min laying him down. He's tired so he needs a nap.

Can he not get down on his own? Isla doesn't stand yet so it's a foreign subject to me! If he's tired will he just drop to sleep on his own?? Sorry not been much use!!

He sat down once on his own but he is so over tired we r still fighting. 80 min... I give him 10 more then I take him out.

how did it go hon? Owen does this too-he can get down himself but always wants to practise his standing! we have to pat / rub his back for 5/15 mins to get him to sleep though so i lie him down from standing and do a rub normally and leave him and keep doing that x

Today I left him crying n after 10 min he let go n laid down sleeping so I'm not gonna do the laying him down thing anymore. Noa is used to sleep on his own n rubbing or cuddle him only makes him unsetteled x

Ella does that! It's not been too much of a problem so far but her sitting up was. I tend to ignore her whilst she is whingeing (I go in if it's proper crying) and eventually she will go to sleep - usually! I've probably jinxed myself now tho lol!
