What do I do if two items posted on the same day (one a cheque one a card) at the same time, have not arrived at their respective destinations 2 weeks later? Do I go to my local PO and tell them or what?

I would yeh... they probably wont do anything about it if it was just sent standard delivery (not recorded etc)

This has happened to me lately- I was posting a dummy to sarafet and a letter to my nan. neither have arrived.

I think they never empty the post box

Maybe cancel them and resend new ones registered post so they have to be signed for hun

ring the bank and see if they have been cashed too.

Our post is behind because of the snow. We had a delivery last night at tea time (my lovely smear invite)

I am really iffy about putting stuff into postboxes incase they get set on fire or something. I always take letters to the post office x

I wonde ris it the snow...just a bit funny that both have gone missing IYKWIM.... I really don't want to cancel the check because it was the most complicated order ever.....

I think I'll go to the PO and ask if they've emptied the box... I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't. I think I've mentioned before how mental our postie is,bless him
