Help please! When did I conceive!?

Hi all, so, I found out I'm expecting baby no.3 around a week ago.. I went for a scan today because I've been experiencing really bad pain's.

I was dated at 6 weeks and 3 days.. & it has really confused me/ made me worry that baby isn't growing as he/she should be.

When I calculated it myself, I was a few weeks further on.. My LMP was around the 22nd April (I think) I thought I conceived around the 4th of May & I had some bleeding around the13th May which I thought could have been implantation bleeding & I've had no bleeding since... But going by this dating scan, my predictions can't possibly be right? Or can they?

My periods are normally around the 28 day cycle but going by the ultrasound, it looks like what I thought was implantation bleeding was actually my period, it just came early, which is really unusual...

Is it possible for an early scan to be that far out? (Around 2 weeks out) Say if baby isn't growing properly in the early stages?

The nurse told me dating scans can only be out by a couple of days.. I'm just completely confused and worried, any help would be appreciated x

I have no words for comfort but my midwife told me that dating scans are really only accurate starting from 8 weeks and 5 days or something. It might just be too early to be sure about the conception date. Do you have another ultrasound planned soon?x

Going by my calculations I was supposed to be between 8&9 weeks, hence why I waw shocked yesterday when they told me 6+3. Either baby is 2 weeks behind... Or I had my period nearly 2 weeks early... It was nearly 2 weeks early and lasted 3 days which is why I presumed that would be implantation bleeding. I have another scan on Tuesday so hopefully they'll put my mind at ease! I'm just so confused by it all. I never had this with my other pregnancies, my periods were always very predictable and my scans were spot on. I originally booked in with the doctors because I was having pains, I actually thought I was going through the early menopause.. I'll wait til the scan on Tuesday and try to stop worrying for now..x
