Hi ladies

Which is a good electric pump, hoping to bf for a year but need a good pump as i need to express before every feed due to more foremilk.
Tried tommee tippee = pants!!
Currently using a manual medela

Thanks xx

I just came here to ask this... Lol :)

I have the TT manual pump, and find it works fine... I'm just looking for an electric to help express more/quicker.
I would get the TT electric, but it's only one boob at a time, and I'd prefer a dual to cut express time in half.

If anyone has any personal recommendations, please feel free to share :) x

I've been using the Medela Swing since LO was a week old and it's still going strong. I like it very much and couldn't recommend it more. I think a lot of others will say the same. No experience of any others xxx

Ameda duo one for £99 at boots looks temping xx

It really depends on how much you're going to use it. I've used both the medela swing (single) and the ameda lactaline (double). Both are very good. I think the ameda lactaline is cheaper new as well xx

I've used loads of pumps ... If you are going to do a lot of pumping get a double. The ameda is good

If you aren't going to do a lot the medela swing is a good single pump (but think the ameda is cheaper)

Please excuse any typos from my fat fingers!
Tapatalk madness!

I've just brought the ameda for Argos as it was out of stock in boots it was 140 I've only used it once but it seems reall good, although I have only get used TT manual which was pants!x

I've got an electric Avent pump which has been really great, no complaints at all.

Think I'm gonna go for the Ameda dual...

I don't know... We're not strapped for cash, but £100 is still a lot of money to spend on something that ends up not being right... I suppose whichever one i go for is a gamble though, so...

Yep. I'ma bite the bullet and go for the Ameda.

Wilson, let us know how you get on with the Medela Swing.

Thanks for the reviews ladies :) xx
