Help needed please

Hello, I really need some help. I joinedthis forum because I think my girlfriend may be pregnant. Over a month ago we had sex when she had just come off her period and the condom split. she took the morning after pill that same evening. we have had sex since then protected everytime. midway through the month we went through some severe relationship difficulties that werre very traumatic but resolved, and recently she has had exams which are stressfull to. After the relationship diffuculty she noticed for a few days her discharge was red/brown in colour and she hasnt come on her period this month. She estimates that shes around 8 days late for it. Please somone talk to me about it any advice would be good. Do you think she is pregnant?

I agree, she should take a test with her first morning urine.

But, you say that she's had two really stressful things happen recently, so that may have something to do with it.

yeah we went through a tough couple of days and she has been in examniations last two weeks. This is also partnered with the increasing worry that she hasnt come on her period and I have been researching around and some people have said that high levels of stress and anxiety may delay the period. even so she is goin to take a test. knowing the above and the symptons listed previously what is the likely result?

I really wouldn't like to say yes or no, I mean...I took a test which was negative, but my period still hasn't come - I'm not stressed or anything.

I've had times before where I have been stressed and after 3 tests, I've finally admitted defeat, and once I had admitted to myself, my period came.

I don't think anyone can say it's most likely...I mean it sounds like she could be but then on the other hand it sounds like she could be stressed.

Get a pregnancy test, maybe go for a clearblue as that can be used any time of the day or a cheapo - but use that in the first morning urine.

ok thank you for your advice. she is currently not on the contraceptive pill, and so i have just booked for us to go to a clinic tomroro to talk about it and have a test. thank you once again

I think if she had just finished her period when the condom split it would be unlikely she was fertile at the time. I don't think the morning after pill fails very often either if taken correctly.
It could just be stress that has delayed her period but it's best to make sure. I hope you get the result you both want
