HELP ME - blood in CM - UPDATE

Really panicking now - we just had sex for the first time since getting pregnant and after a nap I now have some mild cramp type pains and there is some blood in my CM (not on wiping, only on checking internally)

Is this normal or should I be really worried?

UPDATE:

Have continued to bleed - it's like a proper period now and I have passed a couple of clots this morning.

We rang the emergency doctor last night who advised us to sit tight and see what happened - and to go to A&E if I started to bleed severely. They said to ring the GP this morning.

Since then it's been national 'pass the buck' day. The GP said to ring the midwives at the local hospital and ask their advice. The midwives have said to go and see the GP - or to go to A&E if it gets a lot worse.

We're feeling very sad, as it doesn't look good, but are philosophical about it and just that it might not be our turn this time.

I was told this can be natural after intercourse, sometimes it can burst blood vessles inside ur vagina wall. I wouldn't worry unless the bleeding gets heavy or it turns bright red, If you are worried you could always ring ur midwife (if you have seen one yet) or NHS direct.

I had a bleed last saturday (i hadnt had intercourse) and i know how worrying it can be, i would just sit down and try and relax (i know this is easier said than done) and like i said if the bleeding gets heavy then go to your GP unit

I am not worried about ur cramps, infact i got them last time before knowing i am pregnant! and let alone after orgasms my Dr though didn't like it and thought it's alarming. (miscarriage rate increased in my country) due to stupid girls wearing high heels and not caring much. so most of the time we get prescribed to take a pill that's called (duphston) and this helps to ease and relax the uterus.
about the bleeding, I never had it, well never checked internally as you did! but I hear that it's common and best as it was recommended to get ur self checked to put ur mind at rest.
meanwhile relax and my advice is to abstain from sex until you see your Dr.

It should be ok hun, but like the others say if you are worried get it checked out.

I had full on red bleeds after intercourse every time in my last pregnancy and they never found a cause...and all was fine with my little boy!

Well there's still some blood and it's there when I wipe now (sorry if tmi) although still quite a small amount (like beginning of AF) and still feel crampy (and a bit windy - again sorry if tmi).

Not looking good really. Have decided to go to bed as I am absolutely shattered - when hubby gets up for work later if I am still bleeding we will go to the hospital - although I don't know what they will do?

Ahhhhh hun try not to worry too much, honesty it can be quite normal. It sounds like your concerned though so id defo go and get it checked out....it will make you feel better thats for sure.

Sorry didn't mean to scare people off by the high heels! i didnt really mean that it causes miscarriage. but every country is different and we have a higher rate of miscarriage past few years and Dr are associating it with different things.
Thats why this pill is been prescribed ALOT! even if the pregnancy is not high risk and it does seem to help alot!
