Help - Advice needed

Hiya

I'm new to this forum

I founf out on Monday that I'm 6 weeks pregnant

I'm starting a new job in 2 weeks and would like some opinions as to how to handle telling my new employer, its a really really good job, I'm training to be an accountant and I'm still taking exams so am still career focused.
I'll be going back after 6 months especially as I'll only get SMT while I'm off. I'm really worried that they will find a reason to get rid of me in my probation period but I don't want to feel like I'm witholding anything from them.

I personally don't think I would tell them yet. I think I'd wait until I'd actually started and had been there for a few weeks.

I would wait until at least after your 12 week dating scan. As that is the riskiest period. By then you should have started and have a feel for the people etc and how they will take it. I wanted to give my bosses as much notice as possible (as they were reorganising and had plans for me, I was expecting those plans to change once I told them, but they didn't suprisingly).
